I began the class today by telling the students that I would be continuing with the lesson that I had started yesterday titled “MCV4U – Position and Moving Using Calculus Concepts”. I told the students that I had 1 more example to complete which we were going to do at the start of class.

I then gave the students a handout titled “MCV4U – Position and Moving Using Calculus Concepts (continued)”. I told the students that there were some things from the handout I would just be going over and that they would not have to fill anything in (I suggested they highlight important concepts). For the examples that required students to fill things in, I put it up on the digital projector and then I went over the examples using the projector and the black board. The homework I assigned for today is a repeat of yesterday’s homework because we did not finish the examples related to the homework (**I assigned these yesterday** – Do page 107 #3(a, b, d), 4b, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11 & 12 and Do page 110 #16 – **this is new**). Students are encouraged to email me if they have any questions from the homework ahead of time (abawa@office.ldcsb.on.ca).

To review for the test, redo class examples, complete homework, independently redo homework questions which you initially had difficulty with and if time they can do the following questions: **pg 144 # 1 to 10(a,b,c,e,f), 12 and pg 142 #1,2a,3(a,b),4a,5,6(a to d), 8a, 9(a,d), 10e.**
