Revised School Day Schedule for our Easter Mass – Tue Apr 5

IMPORTANT NOTICE #1:  THE STUDENTS WILL BE HAVING THEIR UNIT TEST TOMORROW (WED APR 6) ON ALL OF THE CONTENT FROM MARCH 9 TO MARCH 31.

I began the class today by telling the students that I would be continuing with the lesson we had started on Fri Apr 1 on derivatives of exponential functions.  I then gave the students a handout titled “MCV4U – Derivatives of Exponential Functions continued”.  I told the students that there were some things from the handout I would just be going over and that they would not have to fill anything in (I suggested they highlight important concepts).  For the examples that required students to fill things in, I put it up on the digital projector and then I went over the examples using the projector and the black board. Once we finished the lesson, I then told the students to work on the homework I assigned for today (Read pages 277 to 280 then do page 282 #1 to 5 and 12).  Students are encouraged to email me if they have any questions from the homework ahead of time (abawa@office.ldcsb.on.ca).

Unit Test Review:

To review for the test, redo class examples, complete homework, independently redo homework questions which you initially had difficulty with and if time they can do the following questions: page 204 #1 to 12 (previously assigned);  pages 206 & 207 #1 to 10 & 13 (newly assigned);  page 244 #1 to 8 (previously assigned); pages 246 & 247 #1 to 6, 8, 9, 11 & 12 (newly assigned)
