IMPORTANT NOTICE #1: THE STUDENTS WILL BE HAVING THEIR THINKING AND INQUIRY ASSIGNMENT FOR UNIT 4 ON TUE APR 19 COVERING ALL OF THE MATERIAL FROM APR 1 TO APR 12.
IMPORTANT NOTICE #2: THE STUDENTS WILL BE HAVING THEIR UNIT 4 TEST ON WED APR 20 COVERING ALL OF THE MATERIAL FROM APR 1 TO APR 12.
I began the class today by handing back the students’ marked in-class open book assignment #1 from unit 4 which they wrote on Thu Apr 14. I briefly took up the assignment and told the students that I would be posting a copy of the solutions on this blog posting for them to check their answers. I encourage the students to go over their assignment.
I told the students that I would be doing a new lesson today on adding & subtracting vectors. I then gave the students a handout titled “MCV4U – Adding & Subtracting Vectors”. We were called down to the gymnasium at around 2 pm for a prayer service. We returned back to class at around 2:25 pm. We were only able to do part of the lesson today (we only made it to example 1) and I had to mention to the students that I would continue with this same lesson on Thur Apr 21 because they would be writing assessments for the next 2 days for unit #4 (see important notices above). I assigned the homework for the students to try but told the students I would be re-assigning this same homework on Thur Apr 21 after the lesson(Read pages 313 to 324 and then do pages 325 & 326 #1 to 7). Students are encouraged to email me if they have any questions from the homework ahead of time (abawa@).
Below you will find a copies of the handouts/worksheets that were distributed/assigned in today’s class.
Unit #4 In-Class Assignment #1 Solutions (I handed this back to the student today and told them I would be posting these solutions for them to look over.)
MCV4U – Adding & Subtracting Vectors (filled-in) (We did not complete the lesson today because we had a prayer service in the gymnasium today during period 5. I will continue with this lesson on Apr 21.)
